Cost to Serve (CTS) is the fully loaded cost per transaction, benchmarked against APQC and Hackett peers. Cycle Time Efficiency (CTE) is value-adding time as a share of elapsed time. First Time Right (FTR) is the share of cases that complete without rework. Together these four scores classify each process into one of eight diagnostic patterns, from Protect and Scale (already performing) through to Re-engineer (fundamentally broken).
